What to expect at a session:
For a lot of people family photos sound a little…stressful. My goal is to not only provide you with heirloom photographs, but that you actually have fun during the process!
We typically start with the classic “look here and smile” portrait, but most of the time we’re together you might be surprised how laid back and fun the session is. It’s more like a family date focused on play and snuggles and enjoying each other than it is “stand here look here hold still!!”
I’m available for sessions Monday-Saturday. A session typically takes about 90 minutes - newborn lifestyle usually last a bit longer to give everyone a little extra time for snacks and a diaper change or two. I’m happy to suggest locations, but I also love to hear about places that are special to you. Outdoor portrait sessions are scheduled about 2 hours before sunset, while indoor and back yard lifestyle and documentary sessions offer more flexibility for scheduling.
Sessions at your home - inside and out - are a great way to capture your family’s personality (not to mention the nearly endless supply of snacks and easy outfit changes are close by - just in case!)
